INSTALLATION:  Simply push the stake into the ground. In hard or compacted soil, you may want to start a pilot hole or soak the ground beforehand.  The finial is cast iron and may be damaged by hammering.  If your soil requires hammering into place, consider our Hammerable Iron Ball stakes.
