Normally we consider the height "X with the levelers collapsed all the way." So if you want a finished height of 24" we'd say "24" with the levelers collapsed all the way" and you would have the ability with the levelers to simply adjust to level. It's fine for Paul to make the legs 22.5" as you stated and then when the levelers are inserted they will gain some height. Just want to be sure we give you what you want.
